Contents

200 µg of PANC-1 nuclear extract at 7.11 µg/µl.

Background

PANC-1 nuclear extract was prepared from cell cultures of the human epithelioid pancreatic carcinoma PANC-1 nuclear cell line. The PANC-1 cell line was derived from the ductal tissue of a 56 year old Caucasian male patient with carcinoma of the exocrine pancreas. These cells display an epithelial morphology and possess the type B phenotype for glucose-6-phosphate-dehydrogenase (G6PD). PANC-1 cells are an extensively studied model of human ductal pancreatic cancers and are commonly used in research to study tumorigenicity, cytotoxicity and pharmacodynamics in relation to pancreatic cancer.

Application Notes

PANC-1 nuclear extract is specifically recommended for studies related to ductal pancreatic cancer.
