Depletion of Lamin B1 results in the disruption of RNA synthesis by RNA pol II, and eventually migration of chromatin to the nuclear periphery and dispersion of the nucleoli. The role of Lamin B1 in maintaining the nucleoskeleton may be to bind to nucleophosmin/B23.

This Lamin B1 antibody has been validated for use in Western blotting (1:100 - 1:500 dilution). For optimal results, primary antibody incubations should be performed at room temperature.
