for Htz1 antibody (pAb)Background
Htz1 is the S. cerevesiae homolog of histone H2AZ and is involved in transcriptional regulation and chromosome architecture.
for Htz1 antibody (pAb)Immunogen
This antibody was raised against full-length Htz1 protein from S. cerevisiae.
for Htz1 antibody (pAb)Application Notes
This Htz1 antibody has been validated for use in chromatin IP (2 - 5 µl per ChIP) and Western blotting (1:500 - 1:1,000 dilution).
for Htz1 antibody (pAb)Buffer
Purified IgG in 70 mM Tris (pH 8), 105 mM NaCl, 31 mM glycine, 0.07 mM EDTA, 30% glycerol and 0.035% sodium azide.
for Htz1 antibody (pAb)Positive Control
Whole-cell extracts from S. pombe can be used as a positive control for Htz1 antibody.

Htz1 pAb tested by Western blot.
Lane 1: S. cerevesiae whole-cell extract probed with Htz1 pAb at a 1:500 dilution.
Lane 2: Extract from a wild-type strain probed with Htz1 pAb at a 1:1000 dilution.
Lane 3: Extract from a strain deleted for the Htz1 gene probed with Htz1 pAb at a 1:1000 dilution.
Htz1 pAb tested by ChIP.
Chromatin immunoprecipitation performed on S. cerevesiae chromatin using 2 µl of Htz1 pAb. Real-time quantitative PCR was performed using primers corresponding to the Act1 gene open reading frame and the GAL1 gene TATA box.
for Htz1 antibody (pAb)Storage
Antibodies in solution can be stored at -20°C for 2 years. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles and keep on ice when not in storage.
