for p63 antibody (pAb)Background

p63 is a sequence-specific DNA binding transcription factor that is related to the p53 protein. p63 binds to and regulates a subset of genes also regulated by p53. p63 has been postulated to have a critical role in maintaining the identity of epithelial cell layers by regulating the differentiation of epithelial stem cells. Defects in p63 are associated with a number of developmental disorders involving the limbs and palate, as well as a variety of head and neck cancers.

for p63 antibody (pAb)Immunogen

This p63 antibody was raised against a recombinant protein corresponding to full length human p63.

for p63 antibody (pAb)Application Notes

This p63 antibody has been validated in Western blotting (1:2,000 dilution), immunofluorescence (1:500 - 1:1,000 dilution) and chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) (2 - 10 µl per ChIP).
