for MOZ antibody (pAb)Background
MOZ (Monocytic leukemia zinc finger protein) / MYST3 (also known KAT6A) is a histone acetyltransferase specific for H3. It is part of the MOZ/MORF protein complex and is involved in the activation of transcription. Specifically, it is known to interact with and serve as a co-activator for RUNX1 and RUNX2. MOZ / MYST3 is found concentrated in sub-nuclear foci that are distinct from PML bodies. Chromosomal aberrations involving MYST3 may be a cause of acute myeloid leukemias. MYST3-NCoA2 has been shown to bind CBP and disrupt its transcriptional activation function.
for MOZ antibody (pAb)Immunogen
This MOZ antibody was raised against a synthetic eptide within the N-terminal half of human MOZ (Monocytic leukemia zinc finger protein aka histone acetyltransferase MYST3).
for MOZ antibody (pAb)Application Notes
This MOZ antibody has been validated for use in Western blotting (1:200 - 1:500).
Addition of 0.05% Tween-20 in the blocking buffer and primary antibody incubation buffer is recommended to aid in detection by Western blot.
for MOZ antibody (pAb)Buffer
Purified IgG in 70 mM Tris (pH 8), 105 mM NaCl, 32 mM glycine, 0.07 mM EDTA, 30% glycerol, and 0.035% sodium azide.
MOZ antibody (pAb) tested by Western blot.
Nuclear extract of K-562 cells (40 μg) probed with MOZ antibody at a dilution of 1:500.
for MOZ antibody (pAb)Storage
Antibodies in solution can be stored at -20°C for 2 years. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles and keep on ice when not in storage.
