for DcR3 antibody (mAb)Background
DcR3 (TNFRSF6B or tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 6b) is thought to play a regulatory role in suppressing FasL- and LIGHT-mediated cell death. DcR3 acts as a decoy receptor that competes with death receptors for ligand binding. Overexpression of this gene has been noted in gastrointestinal tract tumors, and it is located in a gene-rich cluster on chromosome 20, with other potentially tumor-related genes. Two transcript variants encoding the same isoform, but differing in the 5′ UTR, have been observed for this gene.
for DcR3 antibody (mAb)Immunogen
This antibody was raised against a full-length protein corresponding to human DcR3.
for DcR3 antibody (mAb)Application Notes
This DcR3 antibody has been validated for use in Western blotting (1 - 2 µg/ml dilution). For optimal results, primary antibody incubations should be performed at room temperature. The addition of 0.1% Tween 20 to all Blotto solutions may also reduce background. Individual optimization may be required.
for DcR3 antibody (mAb)Buffer
PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide. Sodium azide is highly toxic.
DcR3 mAb tested by Western blot.
Detection of DcR3 by Western blot. The analysis was performed using 30 µg Jurkat whole-cell extract and DcR3 mAb at a 2 µg/ml dilution.
for DcR3 antibody (mAb)Storage
Antibodies in solution can be stored at -80°C for 2 years. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles and keep on ice when not in storage.
