for TROY/TAJ antibody (pAb)Background
TROY / TAJ – Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily Member 19 is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. It is highly expressed during embryonic development and has been shown to interact with TRAF (TRAF2 and TRAF5) family members, and to activate the JNK signaling pathway when overexpressed in cells. This receptor can induce apoptosis by a caspase-independent mechanism, and it is thought to play an essential role in embryonic development.
for TROY/TAJ antibody (pAb)Immunogen
This antibody was raised against a mixture of synthetic peptides corresponding to amino acid residues 29-44, 204-219, and 409-421 of human TROY/TAJ.
for TROY/TAJ antibody (pAb)Application Notes
This TROY/TAJ antibody has been validated for use in Western blotting (0.5 - 2 µg/ml dilution). For optimal results, primary antibody incubations should be performed at room temperature. The addition of 0.1% Tween 20 to all Blotto solutions may also reduce background. Individual optimization may be required.
for TROY/TAJ antibody (pAb)Buffer
PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide. Sodium azide is highly toxic.
for TROY/TAJ antibody (pAb)Positive Control
Extracts from T98G cells can be used as a positive control for TROY/TAJ antibody.
TROY/TAJ pAb tested by Western blot.
TAJ/TROY detection by Western blot. The analysis of TAJ/TROY was performed using TROY/TAJ pAb in T98G, a human glioblastoma cell line extract. A protein band of approximately 46 kDa was detected.
for TROY/TAJ antibody (pAb)Storage
Antibodies in solution can be stored at -80°C for 2 years. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles and keep on ice when not in storage.
