for PBX2 antibody (mAb) (Clone 2.1)Background
PBX proteins are a family of TALE-class transcription factors that subset of Hox proteins, enhancing their DNA binding affinities and specificities. PBX proteins also heterodimerize with the Meis/Prep subfamily of to form trimeric complexes with Hox proteins at specific DNA sites. PBX2 is the predominant high-molecular-weight isoform PBX protein detectable by immunoblotting and is widely expressed during embryonic development, particularly in neural and epithelial tissues.
