Applications
Application Notes
Applications Validated by Active Motif:
WB: 1:1,000 - 1:2,500 dilution
The addition of 0.05% Tween 20 in the blocking buffer and primary antibody incubation buffer is recommended to aid in detection by Western blot. Individual optimization may be required.
Published Applications
The following applications have been published using this antibody. Unless noted above, Active Motif may not have validated the antibody for use in these applications:

Immunogen
This antibody was raised against a peptide within the C-terminal region of mouse BRPF1.
Buffer
Purified IgG in PBS with 30% glycerol and 0.035% sodium azide. Sodium azide is highly toxic.
BRPF1 antibody (pAb) tested by Western blot.
BRPF1 detection by Western blot. The analysis was performed using 20 µg mouse testis nuclear cell extract and BRPF1 antibody at a 1:1,000 dilution.
Background
BRPF1 (bromodomain and PHD finger containing, 1) is a component of the MOZ/MORF complex which has a histone H3 acetyltransferase activity. The bromodomain recognizes acetylated histones and the PWWP domain has been reported to interact with trimethylated Lys36 of Histone H3 (H3K36me3). Positively regulates the transcription of RUNX1 and RUNX2.
Storage
Some products may be shipped at room temperature. This will not affect their stability or performance. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles by aliquoting items into single-use fractions for storage at -20°C for up to 2 years. Keep all reagents on ice when not in storage.
