TIP-ChIP: Tagmented, Indexed, and Pooled ChIP-Seq to Generate High-Throughput, Multi-Sample Results for Low Input Samples [AACR 2026]

Access this poster which was presented by Active Motif R&D Research Associate Shakiba Mahmoudi at American Association of Cancer Research (AACR), 2026, describing a new ChIP method, designed to reduce cell number requirements, increase throughput, and minimize sample-to-sample variability compared to traditional ChIP.

TIP-ChIP enables rapid processing of up to 96 samples with low cell input and has been validated on histone marks as well as transcription factors in cell lines. In this poster TIP-ChIP has been further applied to diverse stimulus-response models, showcasing the assay’s ability to capture time-resolved shifts in H3K27ac, H3K4me3, RNA polymerase II Ser2P, and NF-kB (p50) to reveal coordinated enhancer, promoter, and transcriptional changes during the inflammatory response.
