Background

PRDM11 (PR/SET Domain 11), also called as PFM8, is a member of the PR-domain family and acts as a transcription regulator. Some reported that PRDM11 is a putative tumor suppressor that controls the expression of key oncogenes. It's been demonstrated that overexpression of PRDM11 inhibits cell proliferation and induces apoptosis. PRDM11 may also regulate the expression of cell cycle genes.

Application Notes

This product was manufactured as described in Protein Details. Where possible, Active Motif has developed functional or activity assays for recombinant proteins. Additional characterization such as enzyme kinetic activity assays, inhibitor screening or other biological activity assays may not have been performed for every product.  All available data for this product is shown.

Protein Details

Recombinant PRDM11 was expressed in a baculovirus expression system as the full length protein accession number XP_011518530.1) with an N-terminal FLAG tag. The molecular weight of PRDM11 is 112.4 kDa.
